You didn’t notice? It seems like the China car market is becoming a little important to most automakers right now. Maybe because they can easily penetrate the market that it did not make much news. But its like more cars will be shown at the Shanghai Auto Show this week.
Just like the German Audi, it will reveal its Cross Coupe Quattro this week at the China car show. The new compact SUV which is rumored to be similar to the Q5 got a lot of photos on the net even before it was revealed at the show.
The new car is packed with powerful powertrain parts composed of turbo-diesel engine in a four-cylinder, an all wheel drive system with an additional adjustable suspension system. The car that will be shown on the show is not a concept but according to the car maker, the grille as well as the interior will be a little different when it comes to production model. However, the same gasoline engine used in some of its Audi models will be available on the car as well.
Some speculations say the new Q5 will be showing itself on the Frankfurt auto show coming this fall, but it will be on sales soon in the US by the year 2008. Anyway, whatever happens to the new models we will update you right away.
