The 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer is available in three model trim levels – Lancer DE, the well-equipped Lancer ES, and the sporty Lancer GTS. All models are equipped with exclusive features and standard components like advanced safety equipments, in-car electronic technology, and other quality Mitsubishi parts. Special packages are also offered. All 2008 Lancer models comes with Mitsubishi's MIVEC 4-cylinder engine under the hood, coupled with a 5-speed manual gearbox to complete the powertrain package. For fuel efficient oriented drivers, an optional continuously variable transmission (CVT) is available for the DE and GTS models.
