A Closer Look at the All-New 2007 Jeep Patriot

Chrysler Group's Jeep brand division has released the pricing specs and details of the all-new 2007 Jeep Patriot compact SUV. The vehicle comes in two model trims - the Patriot Sport and Patriot Limited models. Both models comes with standard safety components including Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Anti-lock Brakes (ABS) with rough-road detection, Brake Traction Control and Electronic Roll Mitigation.

The 2007 Jeep Patriot also comes with standard front-wheel-drive system and optional Freedom Drive I and the Freedom Drive II Off-road Package.

Features of the new Jeep Patriot Sport include standard body-color grille and fascias, accent-color body side molding, black door handles, black side roof rails, 16-inch styled steel wheels and all-season tires. It comes with 2.4-liter World Engine that produces 172-horsepower, mated to a five-speed manual transmission. MSRP for Patriot Sport is at $14,985.

Meanwhile, the Jeep Patriot Limited model is equipped with exclusive interior and exterior features including premium leather-trimmed bucket seats, heated front seats, fog lamps, 17-inch aluminum wheels and all-season touring tires. It is also powered by the 2.4-liter World Engine with 172-horsepower.

The 2007 Jeep Patriot will roll out in U.S. dealerships in the fourth quarter of 2006 and in the first half of 2007 in global markets.
